Default DK Headlight relocation help?

aloha folks,

i just relocated my headlight w/ DK Custom's relocation kit. Kept my stock headlight. Because my headlight is higher, and farther out, i can no longer plug the cables together.

Are extension cables available and how do i get one? below is a pic of my relocated headlight...sorry about the poor pic....

Ummm, contact DK? If they made it, they should know how to properly install it. Probably have to cut and splice I would imagine.

Maybe you can find a couple connectors and make a nice clean extension harness.

Dig the gold flake for sure.

Hey khui I'm a huge fan of your bike and am using it as a model to modify mine. I just bought the dk headlight relo for mine as well and was curious on how you fixed the problem of the wires not connecting. Please email me at PDpunked@yahoo.com or txt at 9728496723. Thanks man I really appreciate it! Your bike is the background on my phone and laptop. I have a pearl blue 72 with all the same mods as yours.

I have installed many of these, never had an issue. Usually between the extra wire length in the headlight bucket and the wire under the tank, most any configuration will have enough length.

If not, then like Dog812 said, solder in some extra length, or use some crimp connectors to get some extra length.
