WHY? Use buy a pair of touring shocks from a SG on ebay, spend $100 or $150 and you'll have a better riding bike than thos POS highly overrated shocks from Progressive. I wouldn't put them on my bike even if they were given to me for free. So many options out there, Suspension Technologies, Ohlins, etc etc even some good vendors on this site can offer you better than what Progressive shocks can.
IMO, don't buy them.. Just try out a cheaper alternative, than if your not happy move on... The question has been asked a billions times, do a forum search for your answers...

Hello old chap, from across the Irish Sea! Take a look at prices before you decide to buy, as import duties are darned high, as are shipping costs from the USA. An alternative is Hagon, who are British and you can talk to them easily on the phone. They will also advise you on suitable length and spring weight etc. I have their basic shocks on my SuperLow, but would choose their Nitro next time, to get improved damping. Mine are better than stock, also taller than the original ones, as they have longer travel.
I have the 430's on my 09 1200Low, better ride then stock and the 412's I had on it,
choice is all your's, there are other options but I have had great service from Progressive and JC motors where I bought them, I also have their fork springs,
Do your research on what spring weight you need for the riding you do, 2-up etc,
whatever you buy set your preload. Good luck. (mine are 11'5 stock length)
I am not overly impressed with the progressives when I fitted 440's to my vrod and didn't think there was much improvement on stock, looking to fit new shocks to my 2012 sportster and thinking of Ohlins or Hagon.

I have Ohlins custom-built by Motorcycle Metal on my Glide and they are just fabulous! Along with Hagons we can get them rebuilt here in the UK, which is a bonus over any other brand. If you chose Hagons I suggest their Nitro, as I commented above.
Just an FYI, although I don't know about the Progressive shocks, I did try Dyna Fat Bob shocks on my 1200 before going with the HD comfort flex shocks. It required a spacer kit made for dynas, special bolts and rode like a rigid frame, even on the softest setting...looked awesome though.
I have 412's on my 07 1200 XLC. While it's an improved ride over the stock shocks, I wouldn't say that it was a such an improvement that it was worth the cost and hassle.
I also installed Progressive springs at the same time. Same deal.
