I think that is the front rotor, which he already has, as per the first post.

Correct - Part Number 44358-00A is for the front. No fitment issues there. That is the one I have on the front now...

This is what is needed on 2011-2013 Sportsters to be able to mount the earlier 11.5" rotors versus the 10" rotors that the newer bikes came with... now I can have my matching rear rotor...

Caliper Bracket Part Number: 42835-08
Vivid Black Floating Rear Rotor Part Number: 44357-00A
Spacer, Rotor Side Part Number: 41730-08

Looks like a Russell floating brake disc rotor. Perhaps they sell them directly?

Would be interesting to understand why they made the change to the rear brake setup...

I am looking to do a 11.5” rotor swap on my 2012 Seventy Two, minus a different rotor listed about. Do you think this should work for me?

Galfer makes a couple different floating rear rotors for newer Sportsters. This is one on my 2018 1200 Iron. I also put a Galfer floating disc on my 2012 883 when I had it.

You will need the caliper mount & spacer from the list above. I have pictures showing the difference,
but I'm still at work. I'll post them later.

Any 11.5 rear rotor listed for a 2010 model should work. I used an EBC floating 'contour' rotor.

good luck,

T.
