I am looking for a matching rear floating rotor for my bike, 2013 Forty-Eight.
If I look up the bike in the HD website, it provides no available matching rotor for 2013 bikes... but if I go back to the 2010 Forty-Eights, I get part number 44357-00A
Were there any changes done to the rear brake setup on 2011-2013 Sportsters?
I will stop by the dealer, but wanted to get there with as much information as possible to avoid getting the incorrect rotor...
The rotors are smaller on the newer sporty's and no one makes them. I think they are 10" diameter as opposed to 11.5 on the older models. The last guy I got PM wheels for had to buy a new rear caliper and rotor so that we could get him everything matching.

Thank you! Do you remember more details? Just the caliper from the older bike and it will accept the larger rotor? or that worked because you were providing the wheels? Meaning, there could be hub differences?
Time to look at the parts catalog to see what it will take to make the 11.5" work... I will look at the caliper setup from the older bikes to see what the differences are... I hope it is a straight bolt on so that it will take the matching rotor
This guys bike was a 2011. Stock rear rotor size is 10.5 whereas most Harley are 11.5. So I got him the appropriate rear caliper and 11.5 rear rotor as PM does not make the right size for the rear. I'm not sure what year was the first year of the 10.5 rear rotor on the sporty.

First year had to be 2011-2013... 2010 shows the 11.5 in the parts catalog.
Thank you again. I will look into a 2010 caliper to see what the differences are.
That rotor looks the same as the one I have on the rear of my Glide. What diameter is it overall? And does your rear hub have the same diameter central hole and screw pattern?
Calipers are the same, its the caliper arm thats different. The distance from the axle to the caliper has to be shorter to accommodate the smaller rotor.

That is it! Now to see if they sell only the bracket and I will move the caliper over...
