Yep, my dad had a 68 Mustang Fastback..100% cherry condition. He bought it new when he was selling mustangs back in the late 60s. I was 18 years old in 1981 when I wrapped it around a tree [:'(]... He was for the most part glad I wasn't majorly injured at the time and he passed away a few years later..he never made a huge deal about me wrecking his car but that's the great kinda guy that he was.
Here's a clip. Warning - it may be life changing. The Python sounds like the Dark Highland Green car that Steve McQueen (aka God) is driving. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4f6b57kLmE
There's a definate sound difference. It sounds really good, I love it. But, it doesn't have that typical Harley sound. It's hard to explain to a bunch of Harley guys how it can not sound like a Harley, but still sound great. At idle it sounds like a Harley, but when you're in the throttle it sounds like a muscle car. I can best describe it as sounding like the 67 Fastback in the movie Bullitt. (Great movie BTW!) At low RPM's you can still hear the seperation of the cylinders, but at higher RPM's, the sound all hits the collector at the same time. FWIW - I wouln't go back to anything other than a 2into1.
Danke, danke. It's funny but my Bassani's do just that as well. Idle like a Harley, roar like a finely tuned muscle car. A lot of people don't get it until they hear it. So crazy you described the sound of my bike to a T. When it comes time to change pipes, I will definitely look into the 2 to 1's I like the proposed performance benifits as long as I can have that sound as well.

Man but you have a fine ear. I ran a Vance & Hines Pro pipe on an earlier Sporty and
that is exactly what it sounded like. Problem was that it was the single loudest exhaust
system i ever ran. I expected to see the neighbors standing on my front lawn some evening
with pitch forks and torches. That and it set off every car alarm on every street... all of the time.

I heard a set of 2 into 1 Pythons last week on a 04' 883C and they didn't sound like that,my CS's were louder and deeper he noted.Maybe they sound better since you have all the work done to your motor but they sure weren'tsounding like loud pipe on his bike.[&:]I like the look of them and had to check them out.Guess I'll have to hear them on another bike[8D]

progressive lowering kit for fork
Lepera Daytona Sport Lt
HD fork bag
32" Drag bars

Could be the 883 cc's or maybe he had his baffle in?
Started as Nobody Special with a 2003 Luxury Blue Pearl1200C that had re-jet, Bubs pipes and K&N filter, Iso grips and front pegs, detachable backrestwith pad, & rackand a fork bag. I added a laydown plate holder with directionals, Trim rings and smoked lenses, headlight trim ring, Detachable windshield, H-D Sportster leather saddle bags, Sundowner seat, Iso rear pegs, Cateye mirrors, Anniversary emblem for front fender and windshield, 100year timing and derby covers. and finally a tail light visor and an anniversary cover.
