The good news: The stock mirror fits on the left side with some creative positioning, it could probably work.

The bad news: The short stem mirrors don't fit on either side.

The worse news: Neither right side mirror fits because throttle/idle cables are in the way. Did you guy have to do something to reposition the cables?

on the custom with the 4.5 gal tank you will need to bend the stem some so you have clearance with the tank ik i had to do the same thing till i put a set of apes on then went a bought new ones and installed inverted too, but you definetly see a lot better imho

Nah you just feed the mirror stem between the cables, like in the photo. The only thing you might need to move is the turn signal. Just loosen the Allen bolt and move it over slightly so it doesn't hit the mirror stalk.

I actually had a buddy set the proper angle of the stem while I sat on the bike and steadied it. I did have to move the turn signals out of the way as described above but didn't have to bend anything to make it work.

I feel like a total noob now. Apparently Harley throttle/idle cables "swivel" freely, unlike my old honda where they are firmly connected in one position. It wasn't too hard to just move the cables a little and fit the mirror in. And yeah, no bending needed for the long stems... just took a little bit of work finding the right angle.

So I got both to fit... now I have to decide whether I want the black short stems above the bars, or the chrome long stems below.

Thanks again for being patient and helping me figure this out!

For both form and function I like under the bars much better. Just have to get use to looking down for the mirrors instead of out. Nice scoot by the way! Love the black rims on your wheels wish mine weren't all polished/chrome.

Thanks, yeah I love the wheels. It was a gamble getting them, because I couldn't find any pics of them or bikes with them... so I just went for it. Glad I did.

It's hard to tell in the pic, but they're also "machined" instead of polished, which looks awesome up close. I need to get some better pics uploaded here, but try this:

Really Nice Clark. Really Nice. If you decide to remove your reflectors use WD40 and fishing line. They'll come right off.

I wish they had a dual disc version of that wheel...
The black rim makes the tire look even fatter.
