I had a BELL Full Face Helmet when I was younger and I was involved in a side impact of a car, the ER Doctor told me the helmet saved my head from what could have been fatal injuries. I ride with a open face OUTLAW helmet now but have been considering going back to a Full Face.
Does anyone have any experience with the Bell Revolver EVO helmet? I really like the looks of it. I'm sure there are many Helmets which are better and carry a higher price tag but even the Bell Helmet I had back in the day was a standard helmet and it did its job well.
I have one very similar from another company. I like that the face shield can open up (good if/when it starts to fog up, just crack it and you're good).
I like the modular design, doesn't bother me like trying to put on a solid full face helmet, that feels like I'm squeezing my head into it.
I called the online company below and spoke to them about the EVO helmet, the best part of the call is when I found out they were a warehouse that keeps all the helmets that they sell online and they are only a couple miles from my home, they told me if I wanted I could come up and take a look for myself, try them on for proper fit and decide what would be best for me, I was more than welcome. I really hate buying something as personal as Helmets or jackets online without knowing the fit so this was excellent News.. Heading up there today after work
I have one and I like it. A little noisy. Mine is first gen. I think they resolved noise on sec gen. Flip down shades are cool and I like that it is modular. Can scratch nose, face, etc at redlight.
I have three of them, be aware, most of them run small in size. I have Bell revolver 2xl 4 sale. a bell arrow and a bell 500 open face good quilty lids. the revolver is hi-vis yellow and the only one 4 sale.
Don't know about the EVO - but i have the bell RS-1 and absolutely love it. Best money i ever spent for motorcycling. Ended up paying just 200.00 for it from Motorcycle Closeouts
