Ok...I am still fairly new to all of this. Got my bike last spring. Winterized it the best I knew how. Stabil in tank, tires on rubber mats in a cold garage and trickle down charger on the battery. Now what? What do I do for that first ride? I have checked all the lights and signals and horn. Air pressure is 30. Have not checked the oil but I do that hot , right? Anything else? It seems all have their own opnion of what to do...even from dealership to dealership and that can make a girl really confused! HELP!!
OK for starters and by no means complete, Front tire 30lbs, Rear 36-40lbs depending on load (2up 38-40lbs). Check tires cold. I check oil cold, look for center of stick between min & max. What type of oil are you running, dino or synthetic? I change my oils at least once a year regardless of mileageor 2500 which every comes first. Check brake & clutch fluids and brake pads & rotors for clean.
Thanks.....check oil cold. I thought it had to be hot. Works for me and that will make it easier. Checking the other fliuds. I will have to figure out how to do that. May be able to find a friend to help.

Correcting my above post I meant front & rear blake fluid levels not brake & clutch. One of those brain dead days.
