Iron 2012 bates style headlight install help

Iron 2012 bates style headlight install help
Hi Guy's,
I ordered a bates style 5 3/4 headlight for the Iron.
Currently the item is out of stock so I will be waiting on it.
I planned on drilling the hole in the lower triple tree this evening with my brother.
(we assumed we would normally have the light already)
We still want to drill the hole because we borrowed something to do this...
Do anyone know how big the hole would need to be to fit the lamp.
I'm even not sure that it will fit directly, maybe the licht will need to be more to the frond.
