I put one on my 03 1200C, it feels like the pull is much smoother on full throttle acceleration. Just becauseyou can go up to 6800 doesen't mean you have to, at least not all the time. All in all I'm happy with the mod.
I put one on my 2006 883 Custom. Bought it last year when the race version was still avaliable, raises rev limiter and retards timing at wot. Very noticiable difference when you crank down on it. Ordered it from Chicago H/D, shipped to my house for about $100.
Jeez!! When I bought my XL883C the HD alarm immobiliser was set to auto arm at ignition switch off & was a royal pain in the @ss. Disabling the sucker was the same kind of mess around that setting up the SE ignition module seems to be. Forget it!!! [:@][:@]
