Default Numbered Anniversary Sportsters

I was in another thread and they were talking about "What number is your 110th Sportster" Do they have special numbers for the 100th anniversary Sportsters?

I have a 100th 883r and the only things that were different, when I bought it new in 2003 were the front fender has a 100th logo, and there is a little 100th medallion on the engine. I had to buy the 100th derby cover, air cleaner insert, grips, handlebar clamp, and rear fender medallion

I bought a new FXDXT in 03. The majority of bikes made that year were either Centenary models, or carried some of the Centenary regalia. By contrast, all other anniversary models were made in limited numbers, hence the reference to 110th bikes you commented on, which had their own colour scheme etc, and were part of a wider range of models. The earliest anniversary bikes I know of were 75th. It's unlikely your bike has a serial number IMHO. I have a 100th medallion on my 1990 bike, but only because we shipped it to Milwaukee from the UK to take part in the events!

My only experience is with my current bike and it has a plate that says 1182/1500. I’m the one who was asked that question and I didn’t know the answer because my bike is still in storage. I went out to check it today to get the number. Now it’s in my signature so I won’t forget it.

Mine is 1367 of 2000 105th anniversary XL1200L. I saw in the Harley catalog some anniversary parts are restricted sale items.

Yea I think I asked you haha. I'm 698/1500. Maybe someday I'll find 699 or 697! We'll become best friends lol
