I usually see mid to lower 40's. Never seen 50 stock for the 2 weeks it was nor now with mods and tune. I am like Drew Bone. Right wrist can't stay still for long till I have to hear the roar and let my bike know its still alive. I think if I outted around without ever getting into it I may see high 40's. Most likely will never know.
Sounds about right.
I rode to Dallas and back this past weekend. 200 miles each way, all interstate, running about 75 the whole way up (down to 60 in spots). Got 55mpg going up and 50 going back, bucking a headwind all the way back and hammering to 80 on occasional stretches. 100 mile city ride while I was there with a passenger was probably 45 mpg. All stock 2013.

only time I saw 52 mpg was during break in with an all stock bike, (2013 Sportster 72). Now I get about 40-42 mpg. Riding 90% freeway speeds of 70+ mph with ;a custom made ac, Cobra FI 2000 R power pro, SE slip ons gutted & TTI installed. My sporty likes cruising at 70 to 80 anything slower she feels like I'm riding the brakes
On my 883 I get a consistent 55-58 MPG, with a few odd tanks in the 60's. I ride a fair mix of city/highway and twisties, and don't really baby it either.
