ok, well in that case... I just bought 2005 sportster xl883 custom and I am looking for a slip on that will give me that "harley davidson" sound, but i dont want it to be so loud as to wake up all the neighbors... I am on somewhat of a budget prolly around $150ish. Would i be better off trying to buy a used set of cycle shacks or something or just drilling holes on the insert in the pipe?
Check on E-bay, usually a few used for sale from folks that bought acomplete full lengthexhaust system (like I did). You'll be able to experiment with one set and won't blow yer budget.
