extended seat.
Doesn't the past five years trying to bring myself to buy a bike, then this year, decided it had to happen, spent about a week shopping, trying to talk myself into a 250, but feared stacking debt like I did until I got my jeep. Ended up buying my '13 forty eight new on year model clearance. Not going to lie, I was scared the first time I took her out, but after about twenty minutes, I was home on my bike, even if it was 46° or less.
So here's the deal. Love the bike, but it's a Harley so it has to be mine, right? Addressing issues first before my wants and dreams. I need a new seat. The one on her is decent, but too far forward. I'm kinda hunting for an extended each seat, but none disclose such features.
After that, I'll need to get an air cleaner that doesn't bump my leg full time, and probably extended for pegs so I can spread out an extra inch. Then the last issue is fuel capacity, which wouldn't be an issue if I wasn't 25miles from anything and everything. So I think there I might have my fuel tank expanded up two inches and widened an inch or so. This should retain the classic shape of the peanut and make it appear as though I have a tank lift installed already.
This will give me time to decide what I'm doing for pipes and random other bits to make her more of mine.
I know, I can be wordy, but there was a question in there somewhere.
Thanks all for your help up to this point! Can't wait to continue my two wheeled adventures!
