I don't know anything about an Airhawk seat, but I do have an Airhawk seat cushion. If that is what you are talking about then I can say they are great and will double your comfortable riding time. They don't lift you up all that much unless you over inflate them, in which case they will make you feel like you are riding on top of the bike instead of sitting in the saddle. A lot of people over inflate them then say they are no good. You want enough air in them to keep your butt off the seat below but not much more than that. It probably shouldn't raise you more than about 3/4". Sense it has air pockets you can shift your weight around on it and push the air from front to back or whatever the air feels good to you.

I've been debating getting one, but finally broke down and ordered. I'm hoping it gets here before I leave for Chicago next week..

I have an Airhawk cushion and I love it. As was said just a small amount of air does the trick. Keeps the butt cooler too. Good luck with your choice.

My buddy has an airhawk seat cushion and swears it is the only reason he was able to complete the Ironbutt we ran last summer.

I looked at those.. Nice seats, but damn, $700-$800 is a hard pill to swallow vs $90 for the cushion.
