So being somewhat of a newbie especially to the road I have been doing pretty good. I've had my sporty for almost 2 months now and have 30 miles shy of 2000 miles since I bought it. One of those months was the wetest on record up here around Seattle. Lots of miles and lots of experience makes me feel a lot more confident. I did learn one thing. I love to ride.
a lot of people are scared of the rain or think their bike will melt lol
so good on you.
i ride all year round, and the UK gets very wet a lot of the time.
i honestly believe riding in non perfect conditions makes you a much better rider.
in fact thinking back, my bike test was done in the worst wind and rain we had all year. the test we nearly canceled, but no way i was gonna let that happen.
the instructor told me that riding in weather like this will make you a better rider.
