I believe I'll go with SE round stage 1. It's $150 at the dealer, minus $15 for military discount, minus $19 I have on a gift card. Minus $45 from where I just returned a air intake from ebay that said it was for my motor, but wasnt!
So $71 for it and hopefully that have it in stock and I can have it that day!
don't do it. get the arlen ness version. you get a rechargeable (reusable) k&n filter... the harley se stage 1 unit comes with a paper filter. the end result is you save $ and the filter will last the the life of the bike... or until you hamfist it.
looks almost the same but the filter is a reddish color due to the oil the k&n filters are treated with... still fits the covers and all the rest of the fun stuff, neither handles the blowby vapors well :
I really like my VO2 Naked but change the filter element to a stainless steel one that never needs a sock for rain, and should never deteriorate with repeated cleaning and never needs oiling. Best filter I have ever owned.
Got rid of the Ham can and installed the DK Customs 425 Hi Flow. No more oil dripping from the oil cleaner or being sucked into the carb. No more big clunky breather box on the side of my Sportster. Eliminating that wind blast to the face created by the ham can was another bonus.
