Lowering Blocks
Hi all,i was just reading many threads about changing out stock sportster shocks to RK shocks,my Iron shocks are about 11.5 and rk"s are about 13in,well I went to dealer last week to get lowering blocks and he said they only make 1in blocks,he had a set of burly's for 115.00,i said how about 2in he said no one makes them.but I'm sure I read where guys lowered there sporty 2 inches,also wondering how would it be without lowering at all?and will these rk shocks change how bike sits on jiffy stand?ANY advice on how I should approach setting these rk's up on my Iron I would be grateful,oh yeah,plus I weigh about 240 at 5'10",i know I need to lose some lbs lol,thanks

I used adjustable lowering blocks from eBay on mine. You can choose between 1, 2, or 3 inches. 3 looked awesome, but the bike dragged very easily in turns and forget about going over a speed bump.
I settled on 2 and love it. Brought the bike back to a natural stance after the shocks jacked it up.
