Default New Taillight Wiring Help

Hi Guys,

I am wanting to install this taillight on my 2008 883L. Currently I'm running my turn signals as run/brake/turn and my rear fender has been chopped, so it no longer has the stock taillight.

This taillight only has one bulb (dual filament) and has one black wire and one red wire that run to the back of the bulb socket.

My question is which wires in my stock harness should I use to connect to the red and black wire? I would assume the black wire on the taillight is the ground and should go to the black ground wire in my harness. Where does the red go to? Both the orange/white & red/yellow?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dual filament bulb= one wire for taillamp, the other wire for brake lamp.
ground is accomplished by the body of the lamp against the fender.
As far as which wire is which, you"ll just have to figure that out by touching the body of the lamp to a ground, and one wire at a time to positive. The wire that gives you the brightest light is the brake light.
