Today is our 1 year anniversary. Going to celebrate in grand style. First, clean the girl up real good. Then show her the new shoes that I've got in a box in the garage, that I've been keeping a secret from her. Then maybe, ride over to a stealer and buy her a little bling bling! After a good bit of riding, take her to some trashy biker bar and celebrate with friends.
Who says April 1st is "April Fools Day"? As far as I'm concerned, I made an brillant decision last April 1st.
Had light showers this morning, but it's cleared off now, suppose to be Sunny and high around 80 this afternoon. As she sits in the garage at his moment, we've logged 14,920 miles, of MOSTLY pure joy. (I could have done without the surprise hail storm last September, and few of the bitterly cold rides over the winter) We'll most certainly click over 15,000 miles before this anniversary celebration is over.
Congrats on the anniversary. Have a great ride. I'm coming up on 2 years with mine. Not gonna do any winein', dinein' or shinin'. Just gonna ride her hard and put her away wet.
I spent the morning cleaning the FatBoy... S100 and air force blaster to the rescue!! LoL...
Had to ride to a meeting yesterday out in north central Kansas, and had light rain and very high cross winds (40+ MPH) for a good portion of the way. Temps in the low 50's.
Nothing like riding with the bike tilted into the wind at a 45 degree angle. Averaged 42 MPG on the way out, and 50 MPG on the way back. [:-]
Of course today it's sunny, warm, and the winds are light. Why doesn't that surprise me..
