Default Too Hot?

Does it ever or when is it too hot to ride? After church today the car said 100 and the wife asked if I was going for a ride. I told her no its too hot. Then I thought about wetting down my shirt, wringing it out, and leaving. I figure a cool wet shirt would keep me comfortable for awhile.

Isn't Aurora Co only about 30 minutes from 6,000'+ mountains?

100F and moving does not bother me. 100F in traffic sucks a$$.

I have never been where it is to hot to ride, just to hot to be comfortable. And I lived in the SOCAL desert for years.

90 degrees and Tennessee humidity is pretty unbearable sometimes, still sweating while moving but the alternative of not riding is unacceptable. I'd rather ride in cold than hot.

it really isn't bad in triple digit weather. i was told "it feels like riding into a hair dryer" but that's a load of garbage. it really doesn't bother me in jeans, shirt, and vest. i don't wear my jacket in that weather but who could blame me

Not the most comfy of rides in the heat + humidity, but beats not riding at all, right?
