Default 2014 electrical problems

The bike has been taking 2 or 3 tries to start for a couple weeks now, but suddenly (thankfully at home) it won't start without a jump. If I try to start it without a jump it just clicks. I did try to charge the battery, and after it reached "full charge" on the charger I was using it will still only start while hooked up. It seems from a little research that it could be a relay problem? I have ridden a lot of miles in the rain and it seems corrosion on the relays is an issue. So the problem... I can't find the relays. Did some google image searches and the like but I can't find anything that looks like my bike under the left side cover. Can't find it in the owner's manual either.

Start by checking your charging system, including the battery. We have two Stickies in the Tech Electrical section that should help. Clicking relay suggests low battery, which may in turn be due to a charging problem, but also check for dirty (on a 2014?!) or loose main battery connectors. However if your bike is still under warranty.....

The 2014 Sportsters don't have the fuse/relay box as the 2013 and below do so the rain issue is not a factor with 2014 bikes. I just "fixed" my neighbors heritage last night who was having the same issue. The battery had a good charge but the relay would click and the solenoid would click but not engage or turn the bike over. I jumped it and the bike would start. Removed the battery cables, cleaned them, but dielectric grease on the posts, cables and bolts and his bike started right up.

+1 on the loose battery cables. Had a similar issue with mine a few months back and turned out to be a loose cable.
