Nope.............. They last longer and they do start easier when it is 10F and keep a more steady idle at that temp till it is warmed up at that temp. Some do ride regularly at them temps. I can tell you the stock plugs that cold do not start as easy or run as smooth at low temps. I dont have a riding season, even in MI I ride all year. Clear roads, I ride. The lasts longer is a side effect, easier cold starts is the primary reason I use them.
