After I bought the bike 2 weeks ago (22000 miles) I did an overhaul... Oil (Mobile1 VTwin), K&N Oil Filter, K&N Air Filter (Stage1), Plugs, Exhaust (Rinehart 4" Classic Duels), and DynoJet PC V
I believe there's some confusion regarding 'hottest' or 'hot' plugs. Generally, those terms refer to the 'reach' of the plug's nose. When you're having burn problems, for instance, if a plug is getting fouled by oil, you use what has become to be known as a 'hotter' plug...one with a longer nose or reach. Other knowledgeable guys feel free to chime in to elaborate or correct me, but a 'hotter' plug, in the main, isn't referring to a higher performance spark plug.
The term 'overhaul' generally refers to the rebuilding of an engine, ship, what have you, when it has become worn out and needs to be brought back to as-new...or better...condition. I've never known it to be used when describing routine maintenance or adding equipment to a vehicle.
