I have heard Rinehart exhaust on the big twins they sound great! Does anyone have them on a sportster? The black end caps are sweet, only problem is price. $369 on Ebay..ouch!
RE: Does anyone have Rinehart Slipons on a Sportster
I saw a set on an 883. You're right about the sound; deep rumble at idle, hearty 'blap' when revved up. I don't have a set, but wouldn't mind owning one.

I don't but my buddy has them on is '06 XL1200C. Wow. These things sound great. Another friend has V&H Straight Shots with the baffels removed and the Rinehart sounds so much better and louder. Well worth the money.

Iv'e got them on my 06 1200c. They sound and look great. Claim to be one of the best performing slipons out there and I won't disagree. I love them but your'e right, they aint cheep!
RE: Does anyone have Rinehart Slipons on a Sportster
This is my first post ever. I've been lurking for some time to get some ideas but haven't contributed yet so here goes. My wife has an '06 883L that I bought her 1 yr ago. We only had the dealer change a few things like chrome lowers. I have an '06 Street Bob and neither of us was happy with how our bikes sounded because of the new EPA guidelines for 2006. Recently, I bought a pair of Rinehart slipons for her 883L because she wanted to keep a stock look. For the price we paid for the Rinehart slipons we could have gotten some nice V&H or some other full exhaust system. We were looking for sound, looks, and price. We ended up getting the Rineharts, an Arlen Ness Big Sucker, and a couple jets from HD. I'm new to wrenching so I have been very cautious to read all of the directions and forumns that I can before getting started on the job. The longest part of the job was getting the old mufflers off the bike! After taking my time for 2-3 hours it was time to start it up. WOW! I couldn't believe the sound. It has only been a couple of weeks since I put them on and the sound keeps getting better. I never considered the Rineharts for my Street Bob until after hearing them on her bike. I may end up getting them for my Dyna. They sound perfect! When I think of the "perfect" Harley exhaust sound; these are it! They have a very deep, mellow, rubble at idle and then let you know there is more left when you start getting on the throttle. I had the chance to hear the Rinehart slipons on an Electraglide Classic yesterday and they sounded just a good as the ones on my wife's Sportster. I don't think they sounded any better, though, on a Big Twin. Sorry for the long post but after hearing the Rineharts in real life I want to make sure that anyone reading this post will consider them. They are pricey but I wouldn't do it any other way now that I've heard them. Looks--killer. Performance is probably better although I don't ride her bike enough to know what it was like before the change. Sound--OUT OF THIS WORLD!

Good review...Can you post pics of these babies mounted on your bike se we can see what they look like? I've seen them at the Harley dealer but hard to imagine them on the bike...Thanks.

Rinehart/Bub's are only really expensive if you buyanother brand first and then wind up tossing thembecause the sound wasn't what you were looking for.
