Add that to a nice white diamond stich seat and you have one hell of a retro mod.
Agreed. I've actually got a silver diamond stitch seat that I just haven't had the chance to put on yet. It's sitting somewhere at my work. Hopefully they haven't lost it. That should help I think.
Oh and thanks everyone for the positive comments! It was a lot of work, but I'm very happy with the results. I took it down today to get it dyno'd and the mechanic thought it was a modded 72. I told him what it was and he thought it was the best looking custom ever!
You sold it? Your first post as on 7/31. So you bought, did a hell of a job modding it and also sold it within less than a month and a half?
I really admire the work you did on the bike but I would keep my bike for many years to come after I put this much blood and sweat into it. I seem to have developed some "connection" with my bike in the short time I have had her.

I did, yeah. I enjoy modding bikes and then reselling them. This is my 3rd bike in 2014 so you could say I've got an addiction. It was a lot of fun doing it and honestly the learning experience for me is totally worth it!
Well ... that's explains it then. What is the next project you're working on? Your work is inspiring.
I'm not sure yet. I've been looking at Street Glide's, Electra Glide's, and Road King's. We'll see what I end up buying though. In the end, it's whatever comes up at a good price and is something I can have a little fun with.
