08 XL stator replacement
YES I ordered a year specific service manual as the ones I had were not 08 compatible, but it has yet to arrive and I would like to get this on the road this weekend...
stator went out on my bike and primary chain busted while trying to get the compensator nut off. finally got it off, replaced the bad stator with the new one and it "appears" that I will need to remove the clutch to reinstall the new chain, as there's no way the cover/sprocket will slide back over the shaft with chain installed. any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance... john
