Are there are any horn relocations for a 91? I hate the way that it looks

Do you have the shitty little 883 round horn, or the cowbell 1200 horn? I put a cowbell on mine, but that was 24 years ago.

You can probably sell the bracket and horn for some $$. I don't think you can get the 1200 horn kits for older 883s any longer. Unfortunately, as ugly as the cowbell is, most all the aftermarket horns I've seen are even worse IMO. Kinda silly for something I never use, but the stock round horn was a joke. I thought the bare left side of my 883 engine just looked too "finny" and needed something to break up the fin lines. Of course, in 1990 there was little else out there.

I know I saw a horn you could put behind your forks. Is that my best bet or is there something else that looks better?

It's up to you. The horn wires should reach up to at least where the stock 883 horn was, the harness should be the same as a 1200.

I like my cowbell.

We do offer a couple of different horn relocations at this LINK.

The Wolo horns are very loud, and the smaller round horns are a bit louder than stock.

This is where the smaller horns can be placed and hidden.

Just did the ignition and coil relocation and left my cowbell horn off. Has anyone ever tried fabricating a bracket to put it onto the coil back in its original location? I can't say I've ever used my horn except by mistake when I was getting use to the controls but I prefer it to the "road runner" sounding horns that you can mount on the down tubes.

I have seen it done...just searched for a picture, but could not find it.

We considered making just such a kit, but the leverage on the horn and coil bracket, with them both hanging off the cylinders, we do not believe they will hold up in the long term, so we abandoned the idea.

However, that does not mean that it would not work for you. All parts we make have a lifetime warranty, so we tend to have much more stringent requirements.

You may want to consider a Wolo Horn...they are LOUD & not so great looking, but you may find a place to hide it.
