Default fwd controls

what's up all ? I've got an '05 883L with mid controls . I want to go to fwd. controls . I have V&H straight pipes . I want to know if they will fit with the pipes. It seems there is a bigger space on the r/s between the frame & the original exhaust . Thanks , Phil...

Default RE: fwd controls

Most forward control kits have slightly longer spacers on the right to clear the pipes. Shop carefully, the forward control kit I got for an '88 1200 was really badly designed and the shifter travel was about 3X more than it should have been. It was impossible to complete an upshift without lifting your foot off the peg.
