Instrument lights
Does anyone know what type of bulbs would be In the instrument cluster of a 01 sportster 1200 custom?
Does anyone know of any alternative bulbs that are brighter than the factory bulbs?

Hey, I saw you ask this in the other thread.
I replaced one in my bike, and I honestly can't tell you what type of bulb they are. They're really weird and not that common. Little things that you just pull out. I believe you could get them at NAPA if you brought it in, but I just picked one up from the dealer.
They are plenty bright, in my opinion. I can see them clear as day in high noon sunlight. Never had a problem seeing them.

LED bulbs
I put LED in my 01 1200 c.
It helped a lot. Much brighter.
