Throttle stuck

I recently started having problems with my throttle sticking on 2006 XL1200R after sitting for few days. After working the throttle a bit it would un-stick, but now it is really stuck. It appears to be the butterfly valves, or something in the carb that is sticking. Pulled the carb loose and felt inside but found nothing of significance to make it stick. What could I try to use to lubricate?

So, I got to thinking...maybe this is due to turning off the gas at the fuel valve and it drying inside the carb. So, I just went back out, poured a little Sea Foam in the tank, turned on the fuel valve, pulled the choke and started it. After letting gas go through the carb for a few minutes, and some playing with the throttle for a while it became free again. I also own a KTM 990 Adventure, and read in the advrider forums that the ethanol gas has caused problems in the KTM carbeurated models, causing the carbs to gunk up. I guess I need to get the carb thoroughly cleaned soon.

May sound silly, but did you ck the knurled cruise **** that's by your thumb below the throttle. I use mine to warm the bike up and sometimes if I don't loosen it enuff the throttle will stick.
