Default boggsat full throttle

Hi, My 93 softial started bogging at full throttle. I changed from a 2 into 1 a few weeks ago. The other day while riding it died an gas was pouring out the carb. I had to shut off the fuel. I let it set an rode it some an it didn't leak again. Now, it starts fine, idles fine. performs an runs good at part throttle but when I try to hammer it when the rpms rise it boggs an acts like it wants to stall. Any ideas? thanks.

Gas pouring out the carb while you're riding is a stuck float valve thingie or damaged float. You don't mention what carb you have. The fix is relatively inexpensive by HD standards.

Time to take it apart and rebuild it, or buy another one and do a swap.

Rebuild the the carb. Easy and as already mentioned, cheap.

Pull and clean the screen on petcock ,replace fuel hose, clean carb, replace inlet needle, should be a good while before the ethanol eats up the rubber fuel hose again.
