Default "Missing" pigtail, finally located.

Love this bike, but one of the things that had me perplexed was the location of the battery charger pigtail. I've talked to others, and even seen videos, and it seemed that everyone else's was easily located under the seat. Not mine though. Well, I finally found it, and thought I'd share, just in case someone else has the same issue.

As it turns out, someone rerouted mine to be back by the preload adjuster. The thing is... the wires are routed underneath the little area under the seat and aren't very accessible (or visible) there, and while it was back by the preload adjuster, The plug was darn near flush with the frame, so you'd never really notice it. It was certainly not hanging or anything. In fact, it took some effort to pull it out enough to actually use it. In short, it was very well hidden back there.

I suppose it's not a bad place, if you remember to tuck it back so that it doesn't hang down. If you forget, I don't think it'll touch the rear wheel, but it'll hang out enough to get nasty from everything that wheel spits up, so I ended up rerouting mine to come out just in front of the seat lock cover. That wasn't as easy as it sounds, because as I said, the wires aren't really accessible, but with a little perseverance, I got it done. Now, if I forget to tuck it back, it might vibrate a bit, but at least it'll stay clean.

So... hopefully this helps someone. At worst, I just look like the village idiot for being the only one who didn't know the "obvious" location.

Hmm... mine was by the preload adjuster as well when it came from the dealer. Mine was peeking out though between the adjuster and the left side panel.
