hey guys,
Just finished up installing my PC5. my question is concerning the gray factory harness plugging into the black PC5 harness.I have this behind the rear cyl. I assume this is where this has to go(per instuctions) did you guys tie strap this to anything? it is a couple inches from the rear pipe,it moves around a little and I'd like to get it secured someway but am not seeing a lot of options also, looking at my bike from the right side the plug is pretty visible between the rear cyl. and battery box is anyone elses like this? I have my module in the hole under seat sitting sideways with the wiring out of module pointing toward front of bike does anyone's seat hit there module? my pillow look seat has two pieces that fit in the hole in frame and not sure if ther is enough clearance. I may have to trim the seat a little anyone else?
Thank You (sorry so long)
When I first installed mine it was the same way. I took everything back out and repostioned the wires and now the plug sits far enough behind the battery it is out of site. Its tucked in tight enough I didnt need to strap it.

alright thanks, man I think i've got some more work to do.
The first time I had the factory plug on the bottom. This didnt give enough slack. When I redid it I poistioned the PC5 plug on the bottom and this gave more room.
I just installed my PC5 last night also. I tucked all the wires in between the fuse box and battery box. It was a pain but everything is hidden. I can't wait for warmer weather.
Mine is hidden as well. It took some work, but it will fit in there snugly. I did use a tie strap though, just to be sure that it wouldn't move due to vibration.
mine is under the ECM. had it behind the rear cylinder and then from advice here on the forum i went to the vance and hines fuel pack website and watched the install video - very helpful, now she is tuck away real nice, almost like it was meant to be there.
