Engine Cut Out
Well that was scary!!
Bike has failed to start before, dealer picked up fiddle and pronounced it fine.
Used a few times and all seemed to be fine, so put it down to initial gremlins.
Set off today, filled up with petrol and headed on my way.
Got to a very busy, steep uphill dual carriageway, got up to speed and the engine just cut out!
Left me stranded on a three lane road with no turn off!
Totally refuses to start, but turns over!?

Looks like it's related to the software issue that caused the recall. Hopefully a software flash is all that it will take.
Have you called your dealer and told them?

Can you open EHCU menu for see error code ?

I took one of these on a test ride during summer IMS. Left me stranded too. I was going through the gears and all of a sudden it died and it would not start. Had to be picked up. There was an HD corporate person there that looked at the codes, and in my case, found a fuel line had popped off somewhere under the 1250 cover.

My dealer is closed Sunday and Monday, so wont be able to discuss with them till them.
They may need a little time to recover from the ear bashing I will be dishing, given that this is by far the least reliable bike I have owned (including a 20year old daily commuter hack Bandit 600!!!) and I was left in a very dangerous situation, narrowly avoiding serious injury.
