At last I’ve done the update. I did this using an Apple product (IMac) and a USB A to C adaptor. So what I did was download the software update using google chrome as normal google wouldn’t do it. It downloads as a Zip file. The first time I tried this update I just put the zip file on the USB stick so the bike would not recognize it. So double click on the zip file then drag the opened file onto the stick. Then do the update as per the bike tells you to. I made sure the bike battery was fully charged and all went well. I’ve checked the numbers before and after the update and they are different and my app says there are no updates anymore. The heated grips icon has gone from the screen now too. Just goes to show that even though the HD website says don’t use Apple products and don’t use any adaptor for the USB stick that it can be done using these
