The Dark SideFor those members running "Car Tires" on their scoots. This is for their discussion only and not a place for "non dark siders" to mouth off about their negative opinions of this idea!
A friend has peaked my curiousity about the Dark Side. I apologize if the questions have been answers in other threads, I am at work and my internet time is short.
I ride a 2015 UC with a 21" front and 16" stock rear with Dunlop American Elite tires. Would the CT affect handing ? Does the difference in tread make any difference ? If the CT is directional would it still mount with direction of arrow ? If I use Ride-On , do I use automobile ride on or keep with motorcycle specific ? How much ride on do I use ?
I am very interested in trying this , do not see any negative reviews on the DS other than those who are totally against it.
The tire I am interested in trying is the General G-Max AS-03 195-55 R16 , it's readily available to me in my small town.
All info and suggestions are appreciated I am a newb on the DS but not riding. My bike is my primary transportation also.
Thanks
Chris
Thanks for the quick reply, just got through reading that thread. I will be giving the Dark Side a try for sure.
What about the ABS ? What type of ride on ,motorcycle specific or the auto type?
10-4 , I am considering the gmax tire. I have no opinions on which tire to use being a 1st timer.
I plan changing tires out next service (a couple of weeks)
