Dynatek fi controller
Has anyone used a Dynatek fi contoller on their 96ci bike? Looking to hear the pro's and con's of this unit.
I'm running a thunderheader on a 2007 fxdb with a stock filter. I get some popping on decel and when I crack the throttle quick it hesitates and pops. Looking for some more low end and no more hesitation in my throttle response. I like the idea for dynatek considering the price.
Any advise would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Only advice from a tuner's POV is you get what you pay for in the tuning world.
Sometime you don't but that's because of the guy behind the keyboard on the dyno not the tuning system.
Cannot do what's necessary to get all throttle and rpm areas correct unless you can change the some 300+ points of tune. You cannot do that with something that doesn't have the capability.
There are many downsides to "cheap tune fixes" but the only downside to a proper flash tuner (TTS, PV, SEPST, etc) is initial cost.
Since everyone ends up changing the way their engine breathes (intake, exhaust, cam's, etc) it is helpful to have the ability to follow along with mods with a capable tuning device and software in the hands of an experienced tuner.
