Timing/knock
I recently changed my air cleaner from a DK custom outlaw to a S&S tear drop air cleaner. I ran five auto tune runs and the VE tables changed very little. Now I have knock in the cruise range(3000 to 3200 rpm and around 45 kpa map). If I let off or give it gas it goes away. Only does it with steady throttle. I am not hearing it. I am seeing it pull timing with the PV. Up to 8 degrees. I changed the plugs and wires. Does the same thing. Would just changing the air cleaner cause this? Wanted to check before I change my spark tables. Thanks!

Did the DK vent the breathers to the outside and the new S&S vent back into the intake manifold?
Oil tank too full? and spitting too much oil into the intake?
Decent air filter swopped for decent air filter probably wouldn't make much of a difference if any to the VE tables (just as you saw)
