Hey, so I have had my last 2 bikes dyno tuned using PC 3 and 5. My new M8 I'm really happy with the way it runs with jackpots, Fuelmoto header, S&S air cleaner for stock cover and their map on the PV. Am I going to see much improvement going thru the auto tune process? Will it get me close to what dyno time could? I'm no guru but the auto tune seems relatively easy to do, just not sure it's worth the time given I'm happy with the bike now... but if there's more there......
Hey Dave.
I floundered thru the auto tune process and finally figured it out and uploaded 2 tune sessions.
In my heart, I feel I just should've stuck with Fuel Motos map they uploaded to the PV2. If I can find it again I'm gonna load it back in.
I don't think you'll gain squat going for a comprehensive dyno tune. This new bike of mine runs light years better than my last, (which had numerous motor configurations) that had 5 sessions.
I ended up running a few auto tune sessions and didn't feel any difference to the map fuelmoto supplied so I'm assuming the map was good as the bike runs great.
