looking for a base map for my new 117" twin cam build with s&s 570 cam, 58mm throttle body, 5.3 injectors, and 2-1 dragula exhaust. i've done a few tunes on this bike back when it was a 103", but have no base maps for v-tune on this new build.
The 2 most important influences on how an engine will breathe is valve timing and exhaust design.
Find a calibration (ie: 103ci) for an S&S570 with a Dragula, D&D Fatcat, Bassani B4, etc. (long primary pipes)
Set the cal for 125ci and 5.3inj.
Use that as a tuning base.
Good luck,
Bob

my last tune was done on my bike with the same dragula pipe and dragos 580 cam. i think the S&S 570 cam is similar to the dragos 580 cam. intake timing seems similar, exhaust timing is a little different.
you think i could just use my old file, change the ci to 117 and injectors to 5.3, then do vtune?
