I’m looking for a reputable tuner in the VA area or surrounding area that uses the powervision. I had my bike tuned at a previous shop and it didn’t work out so well. Any recommendations would be great.
You’re probably right. After the shop tune, I purchased a power vision from FM and it’s weird because their tune started fine but then around 3900 the bike stutters. I honestly haven’t had time to work with FM and adjust the map and I ultimately want another dyno sheet to compare with my current anyway.
No. The shop tune runs fine everywhere but gas is horrible. The FM tune gets better gas but stutters around 3900. And it wasn’t right away. I rode on the FM tune for about 2 weeks and no problems. ThenIt started happening and I thought it was bad gas or something. I switched back to the shop tune and it went away. I’m not savvy with the tuning portion or reading tables.
Normally when a bike tune starts out good then deteriorates it is cause by something, right? That something could be caused by bad gas yet usually is the 02 sensors going bad. It reads something different than what the bike needs and adjusts the false reading to the ECM every key on/key off. So each key on/off over writes the previous ECM adjustment and it gets worse over time.
This is why when you reflash the ECM it runs better.
