I Downloaded the FP3 app and checked out the Demo section and was trying to input my info to see what kind of maps were available for my build.
I have a 2013 FXDBP 103" motor. I Already have A/C and Slipons, I changed the rear pulley to a 68 tooth and upgraded the clutch spring to a Barnett heavy. In the next couple of weeks I will be adding a set of Hillside Stage II heads w/.030 Cometic and a set of Woods tw5-6 cams, adjustable S&S and S&S precision lifters.
For starters when I went into the demo section to search for Maps I could not load the proper info to find Maps. They had no listing for a 2013 FXDBP with a 103" motor. So I back tracked and punched in a 2014 and there they had the selection for a 103"er but I could not get a selection for a cam upgrade. So I called V&H and they told me that I would have to do an auto tune and then upload to them so they could make the proper adjustments to the VE tables because they just didn't have a library for me to get anything close to a flashed tune..
So Do I bother with the FP3? Will I able to get a decent tune or am I wasting my time and money?
Or are there others out there that have a similar build even with Andrews 57H cams that have used this tuner and have been successful with it.. Thanks..
NO DO NOT bother with the FP3, for anything other than a stage 1 bike, they are worthless, and even then not the first choice.
I don't care what anyone else has to say here about that,, they are junk and they do not do everything that the marketing hype says so, if you disagree with me, bring your bike here to my dyno and I will prove it to you.
You will do MUCH better with the Powervision or the TTS.

I'd love to come down to Florida.. not sure how many more winters I want to deal with... Thanks for your info.. I kinda thought that the FP3 wouldn't do the job for my build..I'll get the power vision... Thanks man...
I'll second that. I'm running the fp3 and into stage 2 now and already wishing inwould of done dynojet fromnthe benlginning. For stage one only its really user friendly. So far I'm finding anything 2 or above your limiting your bike. I'm most likely buying a powervision this week actually and switching something up. My plan was never to go past stage one. But got the bug to go faster and love the power these motors put out. Just did cams and already looking for the next hp/tq bump.

Thanks, it's nice too get real world experiences... When I called V&H they said they could configure it but I had my doubts..
So I did get the PV from Fuel Moto.. Great price and very easy to install. They also loaded a map for me but I used the one from Dynojet.. Fuel Moto said that they didn't really have a map for my TW 5-6 cam's so I flashed the Dynojet Tune.. My Stage II heads are not machined for ACR's but do have Mechanical, So I had to disable the ACR's because it kept setting fault codes.. I will say that for the first time with a Fuel Injected bike and Tuners, it really is a very easy process. Just watch all the videos and tutorials and you should be ok.. I took the bike out on Sunday, it was only 23* but I had to get it out.. I will say that I'm very impressed with the power and the tune.. It was a short 6 mile ride but am very happy.. This spring I'll see if I need to do any tuning at all.. Hopefully I won't have to but lets be real... Patiently waiting......
