So got my M8 tuned at a local shop and I keep getting the P0155c code after a ride. Ive cleared it about 6 times now, Ive even ohm tested them and swapped out sensors with known working sensors to stop the codes popping up. Is it tune related, maybe a function I can enable or disable in WinPV at home and reflash the bike?
thanks in advance,
Chris
That appears to be a code set for an O2 heater failure. If you’ve swapped out or replaced the sensor, that leave a wiring/connector issue.
Typically the problem is in an area last worked on.

thanks. Im gonna disconnect each sensor and test for voltage at each plug going to them and report back. Hopefully I can zero in on the issue.
Did you ever figure it out? I seem to be having the same problem.
negative, my dyno tuner nor myself can figure it out. We have them turned off in the power vision software, yet the codes still pop. It doesnt effect performance, so guess Ill live with it until someone smarter chimes in.
If the tune has closed loop and/or adaptive control turned off, it will pop the P0135/P0155 codes. Make sure they are both on and when sending the tune, make sure they are not "ignored" to ensure that setting is overwritten in the ECM.

is that something I can do in Winpv at home and use my Pv4 to flash it, or does it require a PV3?

I'm not familiar with the PV4, I have the original PV. But I did find the settings in WinPV. Looks like you can set everything in there and then flash the tune into the bike.

Not sure if it makes a difference but I've only been getting the one code P0155. I haven't gotten the 135. My adaptive control and closed loop settings were on but ignored in all versions of my tunes. However, when I went into quick tune on the PV, closed loop was unchecked. I'll play around and let you know if anything changes.

thanks man, you might be a lifesaver. Ill give it a try when the bike gets back from the body shop, got into a wreck on Sunday morning.

I hope you're ok.
So I'm not sure exactly what caused this problem for me. My bike is a '21 Ultra Limited that had software level / strategy 27. I got a strategy 28 tune from DynoJet's website and copied all the tables from my old tune onto the new one so that I would be running the same maps but have the option to enable Target Tune in the future (TT is not compatible with strategy 27.) I then installed the DJ Auto Tune kit with wideband sensors and went for several rides to dial in the VE tables. Only after finishing with Auto Tune and flashing the final product onto the bike did I start getting the engine light and code P0155. And I have been getting that code regularly over the last few days after clearing it.
Like I said earlier, when I looked at the tune in WinPV, closed loop was turned on but also ignored. And when I looked in Quick Tune on the PV, closed loop was not checked. So today I checked the box for closed loop in quick tune and went for several rides and have not had the code come back yet. I'm not sure if the PV4 has something similar to quick tune, but I would look there first. If not, go into WinPV and make sure closed loop is enabled and not "ignored" and reflash your tune.
