Correct it's only a tool! One must watch that the tool is used correctly and not the way many are using them today. People have spent more time learning ways to cheat the dyno runs, than learning how to use it properly. Just look at anyone using the STD dyno correction on a HD engine. They are simply using it to lye to the customers and there is no excuse in the world to be using it. SAE wrote the standard and they say it is not to be used on any engine larger than 50 cu in or producing greater than 20 HP. It was also CANCELED back in August 1988.
