Caller ID Scam
If you do not already know, you can get a call and the Caller ID will tell you who it is that is calling you.
The Caller ID you are looking at CAN be changed (easily) to make you think it is from YOUR credit card company, bank, investment adviser, etc....
I just switched my phones from Vonage to InterMedia which was a GREAT move. I can (but will NOT) show any caller any ID I want them to see.
Point being, it is EASY. BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR CALLER ID. It may NOT be who you think it is.
