hi all, i picked up a 01 dwg,,getting some work done to make it rideable, but was wondering if any members here in Tampa/surrounding area get together for mods? things like that?. maintenance stuff,,,then take ride to whereever? thanks
If my memory serves me correct your name is Pete, am I correct?? If so, I met you a few years ago thru another forum and you and I met down the road from your place and took a ride down to Siesta Key and back, you had a FLHX and I was riding a Sporty back then. Don't know if you remember me or not. I'm not aware of any groups getting together to work on bikes or not, but I will tell you that I have a jack to use if you are in need, normal maintenance stuff...
I can tell you that most of us work thru the week and weekends are when we get out, and we still have a time to go before it starts cooling down and the monsoons subside. Watch this section for rides and gatherings, not unusual to ride up to Homossassa or down to Okeechobee for lunch and meet up with the folks down there. BTW, I'm in Valrico, see ya on the road , Pat!
