I like Peggy's Corral down in Palmetto. Usually a decent crowd of a varied sort. Also liked The Rivers Edge in Gibsonton. Been going there since the early 90's. But in the last couple of years the new owners have cleaned the place up and made it more of a respectable family place. That and the fact that everyone I used to know seems to have gone on or gone under. I hate going to bars loaded with kids and pets.
Over the last 12 years i have heard lots about Cafe 27.
I have no idea where it is,
It's at the southern most end of US27 at the intersection of Griffin Road, across from Holiday Park west of Fort Lauderdale. It's out in the boonies and Everglades. It's a nice run from South Bay at the bottom end of Lake Okeechobee. That section of 27 is a 4 lane highway with zero traffic, you have a good view of police cars so if you feel like opening up the throttle ....
The place itself is a tiki bar with bar food with a Latino menu and good coffee. On Sundays there is a band, loads of bikes coming and going, a gas station. It gets pretty busy and there are also vendors.
If you are heading to or from the Keys it's a good stopping point.
Herbs in Limestone. No food unless it is the last Saturday of the month when they have a band and food truck. Great porch to drink a beer and talk with interesting people. Was awesome when Herb was alive, but his mother and brother keep the place running. In middle of nowhere, but surprisingly close to other biker bars: Charlottes Web and Open Road.
Not strictly a biker bar, but it does have dedicated motorcycle parking right next to the entrance. The Flora Bama is truly the last Great American roadhouse.

I knew Herb before he got sick.
We hit Herbs and the open road bar every couple months,
Some places not too far from me to check out. I'll keep checking back.
Didn't see Finns in Flagler Beach. Nice rooftop bar, good service, bikes in and out every time I'be been. Oasis Restaurant in St. Augustine Beach has decent food, a bar upstairs and used to have good motorcycle-only parking. Last few times I've been they're letting cars and trucks park in that space even though it still is painted for bikes.
We always take new folks to Herbs Limestone County Club if they have never been. I still laugh when I see the bathroom signs ("*****" and "no *****"). It is certainly one-of-a-kind place.
