1) Do you know the name of the OLDEST bar or biker bar in the keys?
2) Best Biker Bars?
I am going to the Keys for a few days and will be checking MAINLY Biker Bars. If you have a favorite place to stay or any type of bar or resort/bar combination, pls let me know.
The Green Parrot I believe to be the oldest bar.. I spent 38 years in the lower keys and Key West.. I remember when No Name Pub was a small grocery store .. Back in the mid 70s I would ride my old sporty up to card sound early on a Sunday morning and watch the people clogging{ dancing } at Alabama Jacks .. Thought for sure it would all fall into the water ..

LOL WOW! CClogging there? Yikes! LOL!!
Yes No Name Pub does have an interesting history.
Thanks for the Green Parrot. Will put it on the list to check out.
Green Parrot is worth a visit. Couple of blocks off Duvall. Visited a few times over the past 5 years and always saw/heard the best musical talents there.
We stayed on Big Pine Key, probably 20 years ago. We stayed at the Barnacle B&B. I believe it got wiped out (or nearly so) by a hurricane. Looks like it's rebuilt and much upper scale $$$ than when we stayed. Our room had a shower that was actually outside. We were on the second floor, and when you opened the shower door you were sorta on the roof, looking out over the ocean and the neighbor's house. They were also looking at you showering up on the roof. Difficult to explain, crazy setup. We also went to No Name Pub. If you're in the area it's worth a visit for sure.
