I don't know where you are located now, and Ocala is a nice place...but it is one of the colder places in Central Florida in the winter.
If you are in the Upper Peninsula Michigan area....you may not mind it. I get tired though of people moving to Florida and when
it rains they say "I thought it was the sunshine state?" And in the winter they ask "I thought Florida was warm?" Well.....Ocala ain't in the
winter.

Ocala would be year round riding for me. I love riding in the 50s. Thats not cold. This is cold.
Ok everyone i thank you for your input

Then maybe we can meet up
Tony.
Ok we closed on the house last week.
wife gets her way moving the house stuff march 20th. Take a few days to get there. Then driving my Harleys out April 3rd. Will take 3or 4 days. To bring bikes out in the trailer.

congrats on closing on your new house, My best friend lives there and I ride over a few time a year. Allot of the roads have beautiful tree canopies that are great to look at as well as keep you cool in the summer. Enjoy your new community!
Coming from a guy who lived outside of Florida almost his whole life.. and moved here 10 years ago... here's my take.
LITERALLY, all year riding... even in the coldest of cold... doesn't last more than a few days. Rain is a daily occurrence in the summertime.... lasts about an hour... then back to sun.... pop up showers WILL happen.
Most important difference that affected me: Florida is 99% straight and flat riding.... there are definitely no challenging roads. What you trade for year round riding, you lose is exciting roads.
